Job Description:
  • Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.
  • Verify contract terms, scope coverage, and inclusions/exclusions to ensure compliance.
  • Double-check material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements.
  • Use Bluebeam to review drawings, markups, and perform takeoffs as required.
  • Identify discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions and recommend solutions.
  • Review and compare contractor quotes and scopes to ensure accurate evaluation.
  • Prepare recommendations for contractor selection based on price, scope, and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate project records, including contracts, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Provide progress updates and reporting to the Construction Manager on contract status and variations.
  • Assist in preparing variations, progress claims, and compliance reports as required.
  • Liaise closely with the Construction Manager, Estimating team, and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve queries or discrepancies.
  • Other role specific duties as they arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract administration or project support within the construction industry.
  • Must have proficiency in Bluebeam for drawing review, takeoffs, and documentation. ApprovalMax experience valued.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, scopes, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction management software.
  • Organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment and meet deadlines.
