We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance on corporate matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing various legal risks associated with business operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in corporate law who is looking to transition into an in-house role within a corporate environment.Key Responsibilities:- Advise on legal aspects of the company’s business operations, including corporate governance, business transactions, and contractual agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business.
- Work closely with various departments to assess and mitigate legal risks in business decisions.
- Provide guidance on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other major business transactions.
- Manage corporate legal processes, such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance issues, transactions, partnerships, and lawsuits.
- Liaise with external attorneys as needed on specialized legal issues.
- Develop company policies and positions on legal matters.
- Provide training to company staff on legal compliance issues.Qualifications:- Must be a Philippine Bar Exam Passer
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, either in a law firm
- Strong understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City
