Role Description: This role is part of Arcadis' Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis' offices globally. This is a leadership role for visioning, development and management for implementation of industry standards and best practices for information management within Mobility GBA and will report directly to GEC Mobility Project Delivery Director. This person will bring strategic thinking to align information management with organizational goals. He will work closely with the BA country digital / Information Management leads and establish a centre of excellence in GEC. BAs where we do not have the Digital leads, work directly with the BA leadership / Digital representatives to lead and establish system and processes, and support in country's digital aspirations. This person will lead a team of multi-disciplinary Project BIM Managers, CDE administrators, who can take up the key delivery roles on the multi-disciplinary projects across various BA Countries. He will spearhead the GEC Digital efforts to drive the automation and standardisation across the discipline teams within Mobility for consistency and efficiencies of our processes and systems. Role Accountabilities: In depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices for information management, such as ISO19650, or other regional or client variance. Externally recognised ISO19650 accreditation is preferable. Knowledge of reviewing BIM contractual documentation (EIR, BEP, MIDP, etc..), this can include ISO 19650 standards as required in region. Liaise and manage internally and externally the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) stakeholders, client and consultants to manage or lead the information management process, standards and protocols. Develop and maintain a good understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis, business and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking and to consolidate personal and company credibility in the industry. Periodically review BIM processes and implementation across all sector's projects to ensure consistency between projects and identify any issues for resolution before they affect project delivery. Where required, review and update Arcadis' BIM processes. Provide technical advice to BIM Managers and to support them in their delivery of projects to ensure that the deliverables meet client expectations. Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure that information is properly stored, organized, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Actively lead and drive standardisation and automation of processes for continuous improvement in Information Management practices. Proficiency in using information management software, common data environment (CDE) & tools. A strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance issues to ensure that information is managed in a responsible and secure manner. Relative to Information Management, is able to review client pursuits, feed input into bids and give input on projects scope. Commitment to ongoing learning and development with the evolving processes and technologies related to Information Management. Identify and select appropriate technology solutions and provide relevant information to allow informed business decisions and the delivery of value. Analytical skills to make sense of complex data and information, as well as Problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions relative to interoperability of workflows and technologies. Keep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments and seek out opportunities. to develop a strong professional profile at a regional level (e.g., conference presentations, publications, and participation in technical committees). Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture or Equivalent. Preferably 15+ years of experience working with BIM on multi-discipline projects. Job experience in design consulting firm is required. Overseas Experience is an advantage (work in other countries or project design out-sourcing company).
