From 24/7 monitoring to infrastructure design to application development, they’ve got you covered.This is a great opportunity to be part of a work environment that is fast-paced, exciting, transparent, and flexible.Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:The Head of Operations is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the company’s Cebu Lab. This role will have a wide breadth of responsibilities from managing operations to ensuring lab efficiency, promote engagement and driving initiatives to attract talents. A commitment to excellence is demonstrated through people development programs and enhancing member engagement, knowledge through their BVMMS. The Head of Operations will be key in scaling their operations to build the team and achieve company revenue and growth objectives. The right person for the role is a roll-up-their-sleeve, get- stuff-done individual with a strategic vision who has experience building and scaling teams from a very early stage.Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies: Creating and implementing plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
  • Managing budgets and financial performance: Managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and monitoring financial performance to ensure that the organization is operating within budget.
  • Leading and managing teams: Leading and managing teams of operational staff, ensuring that the organization has the necessary resources and personnel to meet its goals. Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures: Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the organization.
  • Improving efficiency: Identifying opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Coordinating with other departments: Coordinating with other departments, such as finance, marketing, and HR, to ensure that the organization’s goals are met.
  • Communicating with stakeholders: Communicating with stakeholders, such as shareholders, customers, and suppliers, to ensure that they are informed about the organization’s activities.
  • Continuously Improving: Continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance of the organization, identifying areas for improvement and making changes as necessary.
RequirementsSkills & Qualifications:
  • A graduate of BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
  • Proven experience as Head of Operations or similar leadership role
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in Operations (VP/Head of Operations) or management consulting, with experience in a high-growth startup preferred; minimum 5+ years senior leadership experience
  • Preferably from companies that cater to customers such as IT/BPO industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, highly technical projects across functions and business. Project Management experience is required.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to engage on all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with all business functions including HR, Finance, and IT
  • With the highest levels of integrity, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Experience with implementing IT systems
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
