- Developing and implementing operational strategies: Creating and implementing plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
- Managing budgets and financial performance: Managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and monitoring financial performance to ensure that the organization is operating within budget.
- Leading and managing teams: Leading and managing teams of operational staff, ensuring that the organization has the necessary resources and personnel to meet its goals. Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Risk management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures: Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the organization.
- Improving efficiency: Identifying opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Coordinating with other departments: Coordinating with other departments, such as finance, marketing, and HR, to ensure that the organization’s goals are met.
- Communicating with stakeholders: Communicating with stakeholders, such as shareholders, customers, and suppliers, to ensure that they are informed about the organization’s activities.
- Continuously Improving: Continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance of the organization, identifying areas for improvement and making changes as necessary.
- A graduate of BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
- Proven experience as Head of Operations or similar leadership role
- 8+ years of leadership experience in Operations (VP/Head of Operations) or management consulting, with experience in a high-growth startup preferred; minimum 5+ years senior leadership experience
- Preferably from companies that cater to customers such as IT/BPO industry.
- Proven track record of managing complex, highly technical projects across functions and business. Project Management experience is required.
- Strong people skills and the ability to engage on all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with all business functions including HR, Finance, and IT
