More than just a ride-hailing and food delivery app, Grab offers a wide range of on-demand services in the region, including mobility, food, package and grocery delivery services, mobile payments, and financial services across over 400 cities in eight countries.Job DescriptionThe day-to-day activitiesWe are looking for a marketer to take on the role of expanding our Mobility businesses in the fast-growing outer cities. As a member of the marketing team, you will be tasked with handling projects that cater to a specific need of Grab's consumer base. The scope of the projects ranges from thinking about how to grow the consumer base (either through market saturation or new market expansion), stretching the performance of the existing base, increasing brand awareness, launching new cities, and more.Responsibilities:
  • Set up quarterly marketing strategies together with relevant stakeholders
  • Create and execute marketing projects
  • Manage utilization of the direct marketing budget of the assigned projects
  • Work with media team and planner to define media and channel strategy
  • Create tactical marketing initiatives (as needed)
Operations:
  • Work closely with Demand Planning and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to provide communication assets for many demand growth initiative
  • Work closely with Campaign Planner and PMO to develop 360 campaign rollout
  • Coordinate with other marketing support functions (media, own channel team, PR, event, social media) to extend campaign ideas to all channel
  • Work with marketing analytics to get data insight, campaign monitoring, and evaluation
  • Work with the market research team to get customer insights that can support external insight, track brand performance, and create a marketing strategy
QualificationsThe must-haves:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a brand and/or communications role (client-side or as a suit/planner in agencies).
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead campaigns across the spectrum of communications: brand repositioning, new product launches, and interesting twists on sales promotions.
  • Proactive and data-driven: Adopt an analytical approach to understanding customer behavioral segmentation and spotting opportunities.
  • Solution-driven mindset: Natural strategic thinker and problem-solver who gains category/commercial understanding with ease and has the ability to turn-key business drivers into exciting customer value propositions.
  • Great collaborator: Someone who works well with a wide group of stakeholders and is open to idea experimentation. Able to navigate complexities, influence, and persuade approval to get things moving.
  • Highly organized, detailed, and meticulous: Enjoys improving processes to achieve day-to-day efficiency. Thrives in an ultrafast-paced tech/digitally-inclined environment.
