Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)What are we looking for?Skills Required:
  • 2+ years experience in accounting administration
  • Finance or accounting background
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax filing procedures
  • Proficient in XERO accounting software
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel or Google Sheets) for data entry and analysis
Nice to Have:
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent time-management skills
What will you do?
  • Support and oversee the Accounting Team
  • Client relationship management
  • Ensure accurate and accessible accounting documentation
  • Analyze transaction records to comply with financial policies
  • Contact clients for timely payments
  • Maintain authenticity and integrity of accounting affairs
  • Assist with ATO and liaise with ATO Agency
  • Update accounting databases and spreadsheets
  • Manage ASIC & Corporate Secretarial functions
  • Support the wider accounting team with administration tasks
  • Prepare Financial & Tax Return packages and manage Corporate Secretarial matters
  • Prepare letters and invoices using various software and document management systems
  • Manage communications with clients, government agencies, and suppliers
  • Database management across various databases
  • Assist the admin project team with various tasks
  • Perform adhoc administration duties as required
  • Provide adhoc assistance to the finance team
