This role could be your perfect fit.About the RoleWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help manage and scale our cloud-native infrastructure. This role combines infrastructure engineering and application support, with a strong focus on migrating legacy workloads to AWS EKS and supporting our Java-based application stack.You will play an important role in ensuring our environments remain secure, compliant, and highly automated, while collaborating closely with developers and operations teams.This role requires working in a shift schedule to support global operations, including participation in an on-call rotation to maintain 24/7 production availability.What You’ll Be DoingInfrastructure MigrationAssist with the migration of services from legacy environments (EC2 / on-premise) into Kubernetes (AWS EKS).Deployment AutomationMaintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Helm, enabling reliable and repeatable deployments.Security & ComplianceImplement and review security controls aligned with best practices, including IAM least-privilege policies, encryption, and network security configurations.Application SupportWork closely with Java developers to troubleshoot containerized applications and optimize performance of Magnolia CMS instances.On-Call & Operational SupportParticipate in a team on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and availability of production systems across multiple environments.Infrastructure as CodeDevelop and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage AWS infrastructure across Development, Staging, and Production environments.What We Are Looking ForAWS3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud servicesStrong experience with EKS, VPC networking, and core AWS infrastructure componentsKubernetesExperience managing Kubernetes workloadsTroubleshooting pods, deployments, and cluster issuesFamiliarity with Helm chartsGitOps & CI/CDHands-on experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps continuous delivery toolsJava EcosystemBasic familiarity with Java application environmentsExposure to tools such as Maven or GradleUnderstanding of JVM tuning or application troubleshooting is a plusInfrastructure as CodeExperience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructureSecurity & ComplianceUnderstanding of cloud security best practicesExperience with encryption, IAM policies, and infrastructure hardeningWhat is in It for YouCompetitive salary and benefits.Career development opportunities in a growing tech company.Continuous learning culture: mentorship, internal training, and certifications.Office perks: great coffee, tea, fresh fruit, snacks, and a fun atmosphere.Flat management structure, where your voice matters.Regular team events and a social, supportive work culture.Employment Contract.🌟 Why Join Kolomolo?At Kolomolo, we prioritize innovation, agility, and autonomy.
