Are you an experienced accountant and feel confident crunching large numbers, seeking a role in a dynamic and evolving industry?As a hybrid between media and tech company, we help creators and artists to monetize and distribute their content on UGC platforms such as YouTube and streaming services such as Spotify. With our proprietary and unique technology, we administer 200,000+ copyrighted works and monetize over four billion YouTube views per year for thousands of artists and creators.TasksIn this role, you will be an integral part of our finance team, collaborating with the CEO, the Finance Operations Manager, and our external tax advisor. Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

General Accounting and Reporting: Managing and performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including the creation of royalty statements and financial reports that highlight the company's profits, equity, and cash flow.
Client and Tax Advisor Liaison: Acting as a primary point of contact for clients and our tax advisor, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
Payroll: Backup admin team with onboarding/offboarding and payroll processing as needed.
Royalty Accounting: Process incoming royalty statements from various sources and create statements for our clients.
Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to evaluate the company’s financial health and identify areas of revenue generation and loss.
Process Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our help center, guidelines, presentations, and internal financial workflows.

In a small start-up like ours, you will wear many hats in addition to your main responsibilities.Requirements

Academic Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in handling complex financial tasks and demonstrating a high level of competency in financial management.
Language Proficiency: Full working proficiency in English.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
