- Direct all accounting operations, overseeing transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Manage day-to-day activities including accounts payables, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory integrity, fixed asset records, entity accounting, cost accounting, human resources, and operations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Analyze complex financial reports and records to assess company financial results in terms of profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets.
- Issue regular financial status reports to senior management and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and accurate calculation of tax liabilities.
- Manage international bank transactions, including foreign exchange transactions, wire transfers, and currency conversions.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review.
- Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Undertake other finance and administrative duties as necessary to support overall company operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree o professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in the Philippines.
- Experience managing international bank ransactions and transactions involving forreign affiliates and clients.
- Proficiency in financial management software (cloud-based accountting software or full enterprise resource planning solutions) and advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and objectives
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
