JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A DATA ANALYST Your Responsibilities as a Data Analyst would be: 1. Data Analysis & Reporting: o Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources such as sales, inventory, and logistics. o Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). o Create reports for management with actionable insights on customer trends, product performance, and operational efficiency. 2. Supply Chain Optimization: o Analyze inventory levels, delivery times, and shipping costs to identify cost-saving opportunities. o Forecast demand for fish products based on historical sales and market trends. 3. Customer Insights: o Evaluate customer purchasing patterns to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. o Develop strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction using data insights. 4. Operational Efficiency: o Monitor FedEx delivery data and identify ways to optimize shipping processes. o Analyze waste or spoilage trends and suggest improvements to minimize losses. 5. Collaboration: o Work closely with sales, logistics, and management teams to align data findings with business goals. o Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications as a Data Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in data analysis tools like MS Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of supply chain management or the seafood industry is a plus.
