- Play a pivotal role in deepening client relationships, expanding wallet share, and contributing to the strategic growth of MUFG’s Global Markets franchise.
- Market and sell foreign exchange (FX) and FX-related derivative products to both existing clients and prospective customers, ensuring solutions are tailored to their unique needs.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and develop sales pipelines for FX and FX-related derivatives by leveraging your market knowledge and interpersonal skills.
- Achieve sales targets for FX and derivatives as set by local and regional MUFG management, demonstrating commitment to organisational goals.
- Deepen client relationships through regular engagement, nurturing trust and loyalty while driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Expand wallet share by understanding client requirements and offering comprehensive treasury solutions that address their evolving needs.
- Work closely with Trading, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Risk, and Coverage teams to deliver integrated, client-centric treasury solutions.
- Contribute actively to the overall growth of the Global Markets franchise in alignment with MUFG’s strategic objectives by sharing insights and collaborating across departments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of central bank regulations and relevant compliance requirements to ensure all sales activities adhere to industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance on Treasury products with particular emphasis on FX and FX-related derivatives, supporting clients in making informed decisions.
- Represent MUFG at industry events or client meetings as required, promoting the organisation’s reputation for excellence in financial markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline is required for this role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FX Sales or a related financial markets sales position demonstrates your dependability and depth of knowledge.
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets including central bank regulations ensures you can operate effectively within industry standards.
- Solid knowledge of Treasury products with particular expertise in FX and FX-related derivatives allows you to provide valuable guidance to clients.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent professional certification is preferred as it highlights your commitment to ongoing development.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to nurture client relationships built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
- Collaborative approach when working with internal teams such as Trading, ALM, Risk, and Coverage fosters communal success.
- Ability to identify business opportunities through careful analysis of market trends showcases your sensitivity to client needs.
- Experience achieving sales targets within a regulated environment demonstrates your reliability and dedication.
