Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Taguig for an Operations Officer at Shinhan Bank - Manila Branch. The Operations Officer role plays a vital part in supporting the overall operations of the Bank, and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient internal process. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough credit evaluation and analysis of loans and guarantee applications. Support the approval process by preparing reports and analysis for credit decisions. Prepare necessary documents for new loan origination, renewals, and maturity extensions. Draft Offer Letters, Letters of Intent, Credit Analysis reports, and other supporting documentation. Monitor and process monthly interest collections and principal repayments. Manage loan and guarantee maturities, including timely renewals and compliance monitoring. Track and report overdue or impaired loans and ensure proper action is taken. Assist in processing new deposit account openings and ensure completeness of KYC documentation. Handle time deposit placements, rollovers, and pre-terminations. Update and maintain client account information and records. Support the processing of internal fund transfers and remittance-related activities. Respond to inquiries regarding deposit products and account-related concerns. Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports related to deposit and loan operations, as required. Perform other operations-related tasks as may be assigned by management. Ideal Qualifications Bachelor&aposs Degree in Banking & Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field. At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in bank operations, preferably handling both loans and deposit functions. Familiarity with BSP regulations, credit processing, and general banking procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
