
Sales Development Specialist

- Conduct prospecting, BANT qualification, lead generation, and sales of SolarWinds products through phone and email interactions.
- Understand customer needs and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition, with knowledge of subscription licensing a plus.
- Schedule appointments, demos, and account reviews with appropriate sales representatives or teams.
- Address customer inquiries on pricing, product functionality, etc., and collaborate with cross-functional teams for complex queries.
- Ensure seamless qualification handoff and follow-up for leads in collaboration with ISRs.
- Maintain accurate customer and transactional information in Salesforce.com and Outreach.io, with weekly progress assessments and reporting.
- Achieve monthly quality and quantity pipeline build metrics.
- Develop innovative sales strategies to overcome objections using in-depth product knowledge and understanding of the SolarWinds value proposition.
- Provide detailed weekly status reports to sales leaders.
- Participate in sales training, product management, marketing, and team meetings/calls as required.
- Contribute significantly to SolarWinds' team culture.
- Experience in sales development or similar roles, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
- Ability to identify customer needs and articulate the value proposition effectively.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with subscription licensing is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
