Your Role As a QA Support Engineer, you will: Execute regression and smoke testing across web and mobile workflows to ensure release quality Validate completed tickets against acceptance criteria and document bugs clearly for engineering review Maintain and improve QA checklists, test scenarios, and internal documentation Investigate product issues escalated by internal support teams and reproduce reported bugs Resolve minor data or configuration issues directly when appropriate Escalate validated engineering defects with clear documentation to minimize interruption to core engineers Complete low-complexity development tasks including front-end updates, minor bug fixes, validation rules, and internal tooling tasks Support testing and implementation of scoped product enhancements What You Need Non-negotiables 1-3 years of technical experience in software QA, support engineering, or junior software development Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate technical issues independently Comfortable reading and understanding application workflows Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira Ability to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City, and in shifting schedules Strong written communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills/expertise Basic coding ability preferred (JavaScript / TypeScript / SQL exposure helpful) Experience supporting web and mobile applications Exposure to release management or DevOps practices Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Ability to assist in internal tooling and process improvements About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
