Position Summary We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Billing Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a key role in supporting various billing functions including implementation, ad-hoc updates, one-time billing adjustments, and comprehensive billing audits. This position is essential to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing processes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Execute billing implementation processes for new and existing clients. Perform ad-hoc billing updates as requested by internal teams or clients. Process one-time billing adjustments with accuracy and appropriate documentation. Conduct thorough billing audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, including a retrospective audit of prior periods. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper billing alignment with contracts and service delivery. Assist in the clean-up and reconciliation of historical billing records as part of long-term audit projects. Maintain detailed records and documentation for all billing activities and adjustments. Respond to billing inquiries and provide support to internal stakeholders and clients as needed. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to billing and financial reporting. Qualifications 2+ years proven experience in billing, finance, or a related field; experience with billing implementation or audit preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Excel. Experience working on cross-functional teams is a plus. Good To Have Familiarity with Midmarket Billing or Tax Services Billing (APTM).
