- Lead the design for a product area - You will help drive the future vision for specific product features or domains, making sure the overall experience is holistic and cohesive, and delivering on incremental steps to help the team reach key business objectives.
- Deeply understand the users - You will be the advocate of our users within the broader team, equipped with the knowledge and insight gained through conducting user research sessions, learning from previous insights, reading data reports or running benchmarking studies.
- Deliver polished, intuitive and accessible user experiences - Your designs are balanced and pragmatic that takes into account the ideal experience, our brand and design language, technical constraints, business priorities and risk factors.
- Work closely with stakeholders - You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers and other business stakeholders to understand product requirements and priorities and influence the product experience with innovative UX and design solutions.
- Manage design assets - You'll ensure that all design artefacts you create (from user journey maps to prototypes and final UI designs) are aligned with the rest of the app, and help develop new patterns, styles, guidelines and best practices.
- Help take the Maya experience to the next level - We're a small team punching above our weight, and we all play a crucial role in improving the standard of our design practice, whether that's through learning a new skill, providing helpful feedback or giving a helping hand on a tricky problem.
- Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication Design, Motion Design, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of experience in designing digital products and services
- Experience in designing for cross platform (iOS, Android, web, tablet, etc.)
- Experience in launching large scale products
- Track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams on technical implementation
- Fluency with visual storytelling and other communication tools that enable persuasive communicate findings to a non-technical audience
- Experience in implementing design systems is a plus
- Experience in digital banking, digital payments and financial services is a plus
- Experience in designing for B2B, SaaS or enterprise software is a plus
- Experience in accessibility is a plus.
