The work: . Implement, configure, and manage system and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and others to ensure comprehensive visibility of IT environments. . Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automated reports for servers, applications, networks, and cloud services. . Fine-tune monitoring thresholds and notification settings to reduce noise and improve incident accuracy. . Collaborate closely with IT operations, network, application, and security teams to gather monitoring requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. . Respond to alerts and system events to facilitate timely incident detection and resolution. . Automate monitoring workflows and integrate monitoring platforms with ticketing and incident management systems such as ServiceNow and Jira. . Document monitoring configurations, standard operating procedures, and best practices to maintain consistency and knowledge sharing. . Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and root cause investigations based on monitoring data. . Continuously evaluate and implement emerging monitoring tools, techniques, and automation to enhance system reliability and performance. . Here's what you'll need: . Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. . At least 3 years of practical experience working with system and infrastructure monitoring tools in enterprise environments. . Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms. . Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus. . Experience automating monitoring tasks and integrating with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). . Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues proactively and assist in incident resolution. . Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and a fast-paced environment. .
