We are looking for an Android developer or intern to create a POC of a service-booking app similar to Uber/Grab, but for a different purpose (will disclose later - but this is something of service to the community). Now is your chance to work on an exciting project. : ) To introduce what the app looks like: 1. The app should be available for Android devices. 2. The app should enable registration of "drivers" to be included in the database. 3. The app should enable these "drivers" to get notification of requests nearby. 4. The app should enable the "passenger" to book a service, choose a service from the menu, and see a list of available "drivers" nearby. 5. The app should enable the "passenger" to book the specific "driver" he has chosen and input the time he/she is needed, and the location. 6. When the actual transaction between the "passenger" and the "driver" is completed, they can leave feedback. 7. Needless to say, the app should enable "location-based" booking. Who is nearby will appear on the list. 8. The app should enable a form of payment. 9. The app should be ok for monetization through ad placement, etc. Other details will be discussed soon. This is our passion project and want someone with a similar passion to deliver. This project shall be set initially for a one-time contract.
