
Production Shift Supervisor

- Ensure that staff members are present in the Time Management application during the night, on Saturdays and Sundays, or in the absence of the Production Area Manager/Cell Lead
- Collaborate with the Production Area Manager or Cell Lead to manage planned and unplanned absences, ensuring effective team redistribution to maintain operational efficiency when specific lines are not running.
- Compile specific reports or statistics regarding the registration of irregularities, findings, and decides or proposes measures for improvement or correction in the event that it observes things that are not in accordance with the company's rules.
- In accordance with the Production Area Manager or Cell Lead's instructions, develop the staff distribution plan on the lines, taking into account the planned and unplanned absences of the day.
- Works closely with Cell leads to identify assigned business unit capabilities, owners and support owners, in planning development of capabilities. Actively seeks and supports his shift in eliminating all kinds of losses by participating in cell DDS and cooperating well with DMS owners and pillars.
- Achieves the ASP Targets, specific short- and long-term priorities for the business unit and endure their realization through the master utilization of IWS tools.
- Coordination of non-Production lines related operations, for example, reclaimer distribution, OLFA cleaning and distribution etc.
- Coordinate and support area 5S3R activates related to IICI, cleaning, and sorting.
- Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
- Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
- Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.
- Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.
- Consistently demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety by adhering to all safety protocols, proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards, and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Promptly report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions while taking immediate corrective actions within their authority to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related technical course or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience in a production environment within a mutinational manufacturing company
- Relevant experience in team management, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in compiling reports, analyzing irregularities, and recommending corrective actions to enhance production processes.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS procedures, labor laws, and corporate safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
- Knowledge of tobacco industry will be an additional advantage.
- Experience in working in IWS Methodology is a plus
