- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and business transaction processes and cycle like ledger update and monitoring, expense liquidation, preparation of budget and other important matters related to keeping the financial records up-to-date.
- Knowledgeable in performing office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, processing documents and other related practices.
- Ability to handle communications with clients, vendors and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person.
- Proficiency with computers, software, Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel & Word; strong typing skills and strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets and other financial reports.
- Possesses administrative, analytical, organizational and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic and generally accepted accounting standards, bookkeeping and accounting best practices, tax legislations, laws and other principles.
- Exceptional time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, work under pressure; self-motivated, self-directed and optimistic.
- Ability to detect inconsistencies, resolve discrepancies and has keen attention to details.
- Workplace flexibility or willingness to do other tasks and other duties uniquely demanded in other business situations.
