- Responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing/production methods. Strong involvement in continuous improvement
- Responsible for the performance of a production/manufacturing entity through hierarchical animation of teams
- Align resources within short, medium & long-term horizons, guarantees training plans for successful execution of standardized work, leads short interval management at the site level for production/manufacturing, formulates/escalates issues where necessary
- Strong contributor to continuous improvement
- People management & budgetary accountability
- Influences others outside of own group area regarding policies, practices and procedures
- Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum (10) years of experience in a manufacturing operations role in a fast-paced, high-volume consumer electronics industry, of which 5 years in a supervisory capacity handling a minimum of 50-100 people
- (5) years relevant experience- Manufacturing Production Managers or Assistants with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming / shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including:
- Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
- Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply and Logistics, Sales, etc. As input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources
- Planning, prioritizing and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions
- Must possess high-level skills regarding productivity, efficiency and yield improvement
- Must be proficient in planning, leading, organizing and controlling all resources in manufacturing
- Excellent in both written and oral communication
- Must have the ability to build harmonious working relationships within the organization
- Can keep confidentiality, tact and discretion in dealing with people
- Possess a high sense of urgency and risk-taker
- Work location: Rosario, Cavite
