The primary expectation for this role is leadership—you must have proven experience managing multiple representatives while maintaining high accuracy and operational control. This position requires someone who is structured, analytical, and process-driven.Core ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentOversee a team of insurance verification representativesMonitor team performance, conduct regular quality checks, provide coaching, and generate productivity and performance reportsCoding & Billing OversightEnsure the accuracy of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and billing processesHandle escalated issues and complex insurance casesProcess Improvement & ComplianceDevelop and implement SOPs, documentation systems, and training materialsTrack KPIs and generate detailed performance reportsEnsure strict compliance with payer policies and HIPAA standardsCandidate QualificationsMust-Haves3–5+ years in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management2+ years of experience supervising multiple team membersStrong knowledge of insurance verification processesExcellent English communication skillsProficient in billing software and Microsoft OfficeGood to HavesExperience in a fast-paced, high-volume medical billing environmentBackground in building or scaling remote healthcare operations teams
