Logistics Supervisor

• Logistics Supervisor will oversee the transportation of products from one location to another, such as from loading docks to warehouses or warehouses to stores. Manage product pickups and deliveries with the company's delivery trucks or third party transportation companies and route drivers accordingly. Conduct a cost analysis of several transportation companies vs the company's own delivery trucks in order to select one that is cost-efficient and able to handle the shipment loads.
• Communicate with trucking companies, warehouse supervisors, customs brokers, sales forces and customers
• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals inclusive of Shipping functions and works closely with the Inventory Management team
• Develop and initiate monthly reports having required project timelines, corporate metrics and productivity measurements
• Supports the inventory management team consisting of reconciling and maintaining of finished goods inventory by sku along with lot date at 3PL warehouse locations.
• Establish and manage relations with warehouses, ocean carriers, customs broker, drayage providers, internal and external customers
• Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability and reduce shipping cost
• Negotiate and support logistics costs meant for 3rd party logistics providers assisting yearly budget goals
• Ensure to process orders and on-time delivery by network of courier companies and warehouses
• Plan and arrange logistics required shipments
• Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies
• Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to Supply Chain Manager
• Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals
• Head team to develop, articulate and maintain logistic process documentation
• They also manage inventory, establish and maintain communication with suppliers, custom brokers, carriers, and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise to different warehouses nationwide
• Other responsibilities as specified in the Procedures Manual.
