This role involves assisting senior accountants with day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and budget tracking.Your Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & RecordkeepingAssist in preparing financial reports, including financial statements and budget performance reports.Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for easy retrieval and compliance.Accounting OperationsPost and process journal entries to record all business transactions.Update accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in compliance with legal and company requirements.Review expenses, payroll records, and other assigned transactions.Audit, Tax, and Compliance SupportAssist with tax audits, tax returns, and other compliance requirements.Prepare and submit weekly or monthly reports for internal and external use.Budgeting & ForecastingSupport the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.Collaborate with the accounting team to track performance against budgets.System & Process ManagementUse bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to organize financial data.Ensure financial information is accurate, updated, and readily available.Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.Collaboration & ConfidentialityWork closely with senior accountants to compile and analyze financial data.Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.What our Client is Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.At least 2 years experience in Accounting, Finance roles.Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.Ready to take the next step in your career?
