Work setup: Hybrid (2-3x per week RTO) in KPMG Center, Ayala Ave, Makati Work Schedule/Time: Morning Shift Employment Type: Full Time Overview This role manages one or more client engagements or components of large-scale engagements, as well as individually contributing to quality work on the engagement. Provides technical knowledge, coaching, and training to junior team members. Ensures effective engagement management by achieving the required realization. revenue and profitability targets. May participate in day-to-day management of the team on engagements, including coaching, providing constructive feedback, and performance development. Increased focus on business development, building networks across the practice, and may start to take on people development activities. Promotes collaboration within the firm through engagements and networks. Duties & Responsibilities As a manager, duties & responsibilities will include: Managing one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects. Delivering high-quality Australian tax advice to a diverse portfolio, including SMEs. family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities. Ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and applying them to client scenarios. Conducting research and analysis to support strategic tax planning. Playing a key role across the full scope of client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders. Developing into a mentor to assist other less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development Expertise & Qualifications To fulfil this role, the applicant will have the following attributes: Demonstrated exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation . strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards. 4 to 5 years' experience working in a similar tax consulting or advisory environment. CA or CTA equivalent qualified. Have a relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification. Able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms. Possesses highly developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal qualities. Be able to present confidently.
