Arbour Group is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their client&aposs organization- one of the leading organizations in the USA providing exterior and interior signage, graphics, and maintenance services, with a network of award-winning installation partners. The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor is responsible for managing the AP team and overseeing the entire AP function, including the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reporting. The AP Supervisor role requires strong leadership, process optimization, and collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and effective cash management. In addition, this role will lead efforts to streamline processes and enhance team performance while supporting strong vendor relationships. Main Tasks: Team Leadership: Oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs in a timely and accurate manner Supervise and guide the AP team in day-to-day operations, ensure tasks such as invoice coding, matching, and approvals are performed efficiently and effectively and in compliance with company policies and procedures Provide training mentoring and performance feedback to team members, promoting professional development and a high-performance culture Delegate tasks, manage team workloads, and set performance expectations aligned with company objectives Responsibilities: Oversee the AP month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and analyses Support weekly cash forecasting by providing insights regarding weekly payment runs Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., 1099 reporting) and internal controls Support system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives Work closely with other departments such as Sales and Operations to resolve issues related to purchase orders, invoices, and payment statuses. Act as an escalation point for complex AP issues, including disputes, vendor complaints, or other significant matters Assist in financial audits by providing required documentation and explanations for AP activities Minimum Qualifications: Must be a resident of the Philippines Able to work on a hybrid/onsite work arrangement in Makati, Metro Manila Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting or a related field 5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role Strong understanding of AP processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint Salesforce/Accounting Seed knowledge experience a plus but not required Overall comfortability with navigating through multiple windows, screens and/or programs simultaneously Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus but not required (legacy system will be used to look up historical information) Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
