The role focuses on stormwater and flood engineering, where key responsibilities include but not limited to, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, conceptual design of stormwater management, detailed design of drainage infrastructures and technical inputs offering solutions and support to both PH Water and Sydney Surface Water and Catchments.What You'll Do:

Conduct surface water and flood assessments such as rainfall-runoff modelling, stormwater management, drainage design, flood studies and dam-break assessments
Draft reports and make recommendations as necessary based on the results of the studies.
Coordinate with a project team to deliver the work and studies.

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in a modelling, design and engineering role with a focus on stormwater and flooding.
Applied experience supporting infrastructure design through the application of various rainfall/runoff and flood modelling packages
Hands-on technical experience with a range of relevant software packages such as TUFLOW, HECRAS, DRAINS, QGIS, ArcPro, RORB, WBNM, Python, AutoCAD, 12D, Civil3D etc.
Be a great communicator and team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrate good decision-making skills and commercial acumen.
