Role Summary The Systems Engineer manages enterprise infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services, identity management, and backup systems. Key Responsibilities Manage Windows Server infrastructure Administer Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments Manage Active Directory and Entra ID Maintain virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) Ensure patching compliance and system security Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents escalated from Service Desk Implement infrastructure automation and optimization Technical Skills Windows Server administration Microsoft Azure Active Directory / Entra ID Microsoft 365 administration PowerShell scripting Backup and disaster recovery Virtualization platforms Experience Minimum 5 years systems engineering experience Experience supporting BPO infrastructure environments Preferred Certifications Microsoft Azure Administrator VMware certification ITIL Foundation
