Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator

• Coordinate and execute the operational sourcing process with focus on a specific category; obtain value for money.
• Logistics: Coordinate delivery of supplies at the right place and the right time with Logistics service providers
• Contingency management & exception handling: Coordinate and execute resolution of contingencies and exceptions
• Continuous improvement: Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders such as ships crews, superintendents and fleet managers to optimise order processes and costs
• Participate in Procurement projects relevant to the Sourcing category
• Coordinate invoice disputes: Review invoice discrepancies and disputes

• 2-5 Years' experience in Sourcing/Buying roles
• Excellent communication skills and experience with managing Stakeholder interests
• Fluency in English spoken and written communication
• Ability to handle complexity; handling several tasks at the time, prioritising and overseeing tasks at hand.
• Analytical skills: (Excel) skills to run spend analysis
• Negotiation skills: familiar with and able to run negotiations
• Team Player, thriving in a dynamic environment Work experience in the maritime/logistics industry is preferred
• Cultural awareness: ability to operation in a multinational environment
• Advanced Vocational Education level, gained through education or experience
• Good knowledge of M/s Office applications
