For more than 160 years, we have been operating across 40 countries, employing over 45,000 people - all united by a single objective: to protect our resources and improve quality of life wherever we operate Overview WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING For a Desalination Plant Construction Project Supervise and lead installation works in Reverse Osmosis (RO) building for: GRP and Superduplex piping and headers on RO Racks The main responsibilities are to manage mechanical equipment works within quality, schedule and budget, and avoid claims. Detailed Tasks Preparation works Prepare installation sequence for Superduplex piping, GRP piping, and connections to equipment. Supervise superduplex piping fabrication in workshop. Review supplier quality documentation. Prepare detailed procedures, method statements, lifting plans, and ITP / ITR. Review and comment Engineering deliverables such as equipment supplier drawings, isometrics, civil guide drawings, GA drawings, equipment list, 3D model. Prepare BOQ and MTO as necessary with marked-up drawings Participate to construction schedule preparation, look ahead, manpower and equipment resource loading - in RO building. Prepare interfaces with Civil partner and Civil Supervisor. Deliveries & inspections Conduct material delivery inspections for pipe supports, pipe, fittings, in-line instrumentation, internal and with Client. During Fabrication works Oversee fabrication of superduplex headers for RO rack at workshop. Ensure welding procedure is strictly followed. Witness trial assembly and testing. Supervise GRP pipe spooling fabrication. During Construction works Responsible for preparing and accepting handover from Civil. Conduct civil handover inspections and surveys at site. Supervisor subcontractor's manpower at site. Manage direct manpower and subcontractors for mechanical equipment installation and testing to ensure quality works in line with construction schedule and avoid claims. Conduct site inspection and coordinate with QC to ensure all ITP / test sheets are completed. Provide inputs for weekly progress reports. Supervise all Piping installation, testing, and chemically cleaning,in RO buildings. Other activities as requested by Lead Mechanical Supervisor or Construction Manager. During Commissioning works Assistance during pre-commissioning and commissioning. Prepare punch list and the follow-up. HSE & Ethics Followed the HSE procedures and Ethics policy. Ensure proper Health and Safety in work areas. Responsible for the safety of the work and must coordinate with the HSE manager. Ensure proper Safety in work areas.
