ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Provides cost, schedule, and technical performance guidance to ensure successful completion of program
- Coordinates with supply technicians, warehouse supervisors, other logistics personnel and subcontracted freight forwarders to resolve transportation related issues
- Supervises and directs work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and programs
- Ensures that strong partnerships with customers, peers, and other stakeholders as required
- Supervises installation transportation office and coordinates all activities connected to equipment and personnel circulation
- Supervises Shuttle Bus Service and associated subcontractors to ensure contract compliance
- Supervises and directs programming and forecasting material handling and transportation needs until the delivery to final customer through the best asset scheme in terms of Cost, Lead-time & Quality
- Ensures all shipment personnel, to include subcontractors, are trained, qualified and certified as needed to perform the requirements of the contract in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner under the requirements specified in individual sections of the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Performs other duties and assignments as required
- Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- A valid Driver’s License is required for all Labor Categories in the Philippines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
- Associates/Bachelors is preferred.
- Must have current U.S. Drivers License.
- Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must have valid US Passport.
- 3-5 years of directly related work experience required.
- Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of leadership.
- Experience:
- One (1) to three (3) years' of supervisory experience.
- Should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products (i.e. Power Point, Word, Excel).
- Administrative and customer service training and experience a must. Hazmat qualified
- Skills:
- Shall be capable of providing analysis of practices and problems of all functions of the Installation Transportation Office to increase the effectiveness of transportation support provided by the installation
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required along with a working knowledge of computer operations to include spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications
- Great organizational and management skills with a strong ability to work independently as a member of a robust team
- Must be team oriented; possess excellent organizational, time management skills to include analyses.
- Must be a self starter. This is a minimal supervision position.
- Familiar with U.S. military branches of service.
- Ability to work under fast paced and adverse conditions.
- Working environment
- Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Work Week: 48 hours (6 days @ 8 hours a day) is the standard work week. Must be able to lift/push/pull 45-50 lbs.
- Physical Requirements:
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
