This role is ideal for detail-driven professionals who thrive on precision, organization, and accountability. You will coordinate directly with providers, insurance companies, and facilities to secure approvals, manage sensitive documentation, and maintain audit-ready credentialing records. Success in this role requires sharp focus, proactive follow-through, and the ability to deliver consistently reliable outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Core Responsibilities
- Manage the full provider credentialing lifecycle, from document collection to final approvals
- Verify licenses, certifications, education, and work history for compliance and accuracy
- Liaise with insurance companies, surgery centers, and other entities to secure privileging approvals
- Edit, merge, and format credentialing documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro with zero errors
- Maintain well-organized digital records and ensure audit readiness at all times
- Track deadlines, expirations, and renewals using structured systems to prevent lapses
- Communicate clearly and professionally with providers and external stakeholders
- Generate regular credentialing status reports and update leadership proactively
- Classify and manage anesthesia-related documentation (MAC, general, regional/local)
- Support administrative projects and contribute to team-wide efficiency initiatives
- Minimum 2 years of medical credentialing or healthcare administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end credentialing workflows independently
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro (merging, annotating, redacting, formatting)
- Advanced Google Workspace skills, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail with proven organizational precision
- Ability to work consistently within PT business hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Stable wired internet connection of at least 25 Mbps with a backup option
- Prior experience liaising with insurance companies and surgery centers
- Familiarity with anesthesia terminology (MAC, general, regional/local)
- Background in medical records management or healthcare office operations
