About the roleYONDU INC.' is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a junior QA engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products.What you'll be doing
  • Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications
  • Collaborating with the development team to understand application requirements and identify potential areas of risk
  • Documenting test plans, test cases, and defect reports using appropriate tools and processes
  • Analyzing test results and providing feedback to the development team to drive continuous improvement
  • Participating in code reviews and providing input on quality assurance best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing
What We're Looking For:
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and techniques
  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and iterative testing cycles
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Amenable to work onsite in Makati
