Key ResponsibilitiesLead the production and maintenance of coordinated 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit, ensuring proper integration with other disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, and structural).Support electrical engineers by modelling cable trays, conduits, equipment layouts, lighting systems, and creating load schedules, SLDs, riser diagrams, and panel schedules.Ensure all deliverables align with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Surbana Jurong’s modelling standards, and international protocols such as ISO 19650.Participate in clash detection, resolution, and coordination activities using Navisworks Manage, actively collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.Contribute to the preparation and ongoing management of drawings, documentation, and datasets on platforms such as BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).Drive quality and efficiency through the development and maintenance of Revit content, BIM libraries, and automation tools to support project teams.Take a proactive role in QA/QC checks to ensure models and drawings are accurate, constructible, and compliant with design requirements.Support regional and global project delivery, coordinating with teams in Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, and beyond, including across different time zones.Mentor junior BIM modellers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and skill development initiatives.Preferred Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a closely related technical field.Experience:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical BIM modelling and documentation for building projects.Experience working on large-scale multidisciplinary projects; familiarity with international design codes (IEC, NEC, BS, AS/NZS) is a plus.Demonstrated track record of BIM coordination within fast-paced, collaborative environments.Technical Proficiency:Strong command of Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage.Familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC, Microsoft Office tools, and Common Data Environments (CDEs).Knowledge of key electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarm, and earthing.Soft Skills:Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English, both written and verbal.High level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and deliverables.Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and client expectations.Desirable but Not Mandatory:Prior experience on international projects or exposure to global delivery models.Understanding of LOD specifications, COBie, or data-rich model requirements.At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
