Buyer/Planner II

• Major responsibilities of a Buyer/Planner II are the overall SIOP of assigned business, management and tracking of inventory / supply levels of the assigned product class to support customer demand thru close coordination with the BBR Supervisor and Category Manager, review and release MRP signals, execution of Purchase Orders, manage supplier delivery and communication, maintain the target inventory levels as specified by the KPIs. Maintain data integrity of all systems required to manage the assigned product line. Buyer/Planner II also support Category Manager and Supply Chain activities and projects that drives improvements.
• Handles inventory and supply with high spend commodities to support more complex product class but still have direct impact to customer satisfaction and Company cash flow thru inventory DIO.
• Has a strong analytical skill and utilizes different planning reports to determine risk in supply availability, inventory Level, Inventory Aging and Past due reduction. Serves a backup for Buyer/Planner I. Works with Buy Branded Material Supervisor and Category Manager by recommending solutions and resolution of conflicts in current and future planning periods. Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Buying/Planning functions in Oracle/SAP.
• A Buyer/Planner II can manage non routine and complex problems, communicate information and work under minimum supervision. Also supports other core supply chain transactions related to supplier management and inventory management.
