This position requires an experienced manager with solid leadership who is up-to-date on all industry regulations and trends, and willing to take a driving role in all aspects of operation. The successful applicant will need to be strong in problem-solving, have excellent communication and organization skills, and capable of making sound management decisions. This position encompasses a wide variety of duties and responsibilities, which are outlined below.(Senior engineer with a lot of field operational experience directly, knowing in detail each step of Quarry production : Drilling and blasting, Loading and Hauling, Crushing and screening with the high knowledge of equipment preventive maintenance) Coordinate daily with the third party quarry operator (engineers and geologists) to plan andimplement delivery processes Manage and train raw material preparation to maintain high operationalstandards Monitor production levels and adjust processes to optimize efficiency (quantity & quality) Ensure compliance with environmental (fugitive dust, mining & rehab plan), safety, andregulatory standards Develop and manage budgets for quarry operations (crushing and screening part includingblending hall) Define tech. scopes with supplier (quarry operation third part company, blasting company) Conduct site inspections and risk assessments Implement quality control measures to ensure materials meet specifications:-Feeding fragmentation-Chemical composition (high grade-Low grade) Prepare reports and present findings to senior management. Drive continuous improvementinitiatives. Control condition of the RMP equipment and organize preventive maintenance plan on time Close cooperation with Quality manager, Maintenance manager, Production manager Block modelling capabilities and mining plan creation and execution (Quary master, QSOblock modelling) Close control in manor of quality control and safety in area of drilling and blastingQualifications Guidelines: Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geology engineer, or related field At least 10 years of experience in quarry management in cement or aggregate industries(aggregate industries is preferably) Strong understanding of quarrying equipment and technology High level of understanding of measuring methods for calculation of Reserves and Resources Understanding of chemistry and minerology High level skills and understanding of mechanical repair process (welding, bearingreplacement, lubrication preces etc.) Understanding Raw material handling process (belts, transfer chutes,…) Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience with budgeting and financial management Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Courageous and factual. Solid in conflictmanagement. High level of collaboration and cooperation with different teams. Systematic, organized, structured and highly disciplined, Self-motivated.
