- Monitor all quality-related activities on the project.
- Perform specialized construction inspection work on small to large and complex capital projects.
- Accept or reject services or completed work.
- Ensure proper execution of construction project plans.
- Produce daily QA inspection reports and oversee correction of noted deficiencies.
- Evaluate effectiveness of controls delineated in the PQP/ITP and implementing procedures.
- Perform or verify all required construction QC sampling, testing, and documentation.
- Perform surveillances of project operations.
- Provide reports of observation and test results.
- Coordinate project materials testing efforts.
- Day-to-day working knowledge of project documents, drawings, specifications & scope of work.
- Assist the Project QA/QC Manager with the administration, planning, scheduling, and control of the Project Quality Program.
- Inspect a portion of each type of work performed by Contractor/Subcontractors for correctness and compliance with project documents.
- Notify Contractors' QA/QC representatives of all identified deficiencies.
- Issue and track status of all project nonconformance reports, including customer complaints.
- Collaborate with Contractors'/Vendors' QA/QC inspections of materials/equipment upon receipt.
- Participate in weekly QA/QC meetings.
- Use, control, and distribute project quality documentation.
- Assist with all internal and external quality audits of the project.
- Assist Construction Manager in collecting data for statistical method reporting as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Must be a Licensed Engineer.
- 3 years of experience monitoring building & infrastructure construction.
- Additional appropriate construction project inspection experience may be substituted for the minimum education & license requirement.
- Must pass drug test, physical, and background check.
- Experience in construction inspection, management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Civil & Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical & Fire Protection scopes.
- Preference given to high-rise and mid-rise building project experience or infrastructure project experience overseas.
- Knowledge of National Building Code of the Philippines, Structural, Fire Code of the Philippines, Philippine Electrical Code, Mechanical Engineering Code, NFPA Life Safety Code, International Building Code.
- Candidate must keep current all Licenses and certifications as a condition of employment.
- Experience with construction quality management tools and knowledge of quality guidelines preferred (i.e., ASME/AWS/ACI/API/ICC/NACE).
