- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in general HR management across various functions including Recruitment, ER, L&D, and Performance Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a people management or leadership capacity.
- Proven HR experience within the retail industry is required.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations and provide strategic HR leadership across all retail sites within the Mindanao region.
- Act as a key advisor to regional business leaders, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business goals.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract, onboard, and retain talent suited for the dynamic retail environment.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies that align with company values and local workforce needs.
- Manage employee relations cases and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring that KPIs and development plans are effectively implemented.
- Design and execute learning and development programs tailored to upskill and grow regional talent.
- Utilize HR metrics and data to guide decision-making and report regional HR performance to headquarters.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals in the region, fostering continuous development and operational excellence.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company-wide HR policies while adapting them to the regional context where necessary.
