OVERALL PURPOSE:Responsible for implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure and related system software, hardware, and utilities to ensure an effective and efficient systems environment aligned to bank standards and MLPP compliance laws and regulations.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Performs infrastructure installation and maintenance.2. Conducts and participates in analysis and modification of system software.3. Prepares documentation for system changes, installation and enhancements.4. Participates and assists in system testing, debugging and rollout of system software and related IT infrastructure.5. Assists in technical projects.6. May handle technical staff function as required.7. Handles batch operational requirement review, set-up and testing.8. Prepares and implements batch operational flow.9. Performs change control function and administration.10. Performs first level problem diagnosis and implement corrective actions; refer and escalate to internal support teams if necessary.11. Leads data center operations for a given shift, if necessary.12. Handles database monitoring, administration and maintenance.13. Performs database and application design, review, and implementation.14. Conducts database performance review and tuning.15. Assists in minor DBA projects.16. Manages incidents, problems, change requests and service requests based on approved process.17. Resolves process exceptions that arise during normal day-to-day process activities18. Tracks and identifies incident, problem or request that requires increased focus to meet committed Service Levels.19. Performs RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring IT operational issues.20. Handles other administrative tasks.21. Keeps abreast of updates on BSP policies as stipulated in the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and Bank policies as specified in the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs and adheres to said policies.
