The HR Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the organization across three key HR pillars: Employee Relations (ER) , HR Compliance , and Organizational Development (OD) & Performance Management . The role is responsible for fostering a compliant, fair, and high-performance workplace through effective management of employee issues, policy adherence, and initiatives that drive employee engagement and continuous performance improvement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Employee Relations (ER) Case Management Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into ER cases including harassment, misconduct, and workplace policy violations. Ensure due process and documentation in handling corrective and disciplinary actions. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on ER matters, local labor laws, and company policies. Maintain and update the case management tracking system and ensure confidentiality and proper documentation. 2. HR Compliance Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and company HR policies. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing accurate documentation and reports related to labor and employment. Keep policies up-to-date and aligned with legislative updates and best practices. Develop and implement compliance training for employees and managers. Monitor contractual employee arrangements and ensure all employment records and statutory filings are complete and compliant. 3. Organizational Development & Performance Management Support the development and implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS). Facilitate employee engagement surveys, feedback sessions, and related improvement initiatives. Assist in talent management programs including succession planning, competency development, and career pathing. Partner with supervisors and department managers in executing learning and development plans. Conduct analyses of OD and performance data to identify trends and recommend actionable strategies for improvement. Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Experience Minimum 2-3 years of progressive HR experience with focus on Employee Relations and HR compliance in the Philippines. Experience in performance management systems and OD initiatives is strongly preferred. Knowledge & Skills In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE guidelines, and employment best practices. Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to conduct sensitive investigations with neutrality and confidentiality. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
