Position Summary The Asset Management Sr. Specialist is the subject matter expert for one or more Asset Management Elements in Asset Management Subjects on Lifecycle Delivery, Risk and Review, and/or Organizational & People and is tasked to take the lead on the developing, improving, implementation of asset management guidelines with respect to defined areas of expertise. The role is responsible to review, assesses the asset management maturity of business units and facilities with respect to the elements, conducts audits and is identifies areas where the business unit / facility is non-compliant or is practicing sub-optimal asset management practices that can pose a risk to achievement of organizational targets and/or can lead to prolonged equipment failure, including practices which can result in non-compliance to asset management standards, identifying best practices, areas for improvement and innovations that will ensure or enhance compliance or open pathways to excellence for the unit or for Generation fleetwide. Lastly, it leads projects and initiatives and works with AM Specialists, tapping and consulting technical experts, and other resources to produce results required; working closely with asset management heads and relevant departments to develop and implement asset management plans and monitor asset performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering At least 3 years of experience in Asset Management At least 3 years of experince in power generation; experience requirement may be reduced for individuals with an advanced technical or business degree, or registration as a professional engineer. Exposure to plant information systems, performance monitoring software application.
