On Project Tendering Contribute to equipment list based on the input from proposal engineer. Prepare specification for inquiry when required. Prepare technical clarification with vendor. On Project Execution To prepare production of calculation notes for sizing of equipment (TMH for pumps, discharge pressure for blowers, service air consumption, room ventilation flow rate, and etc.) To prepare equipment specification for inquiry, on the basis of the client specification, process requirements, equipment environmental information, calculation notes and installation conditions. Define performance guarantees for the equipment. To check supplier&aposs offers for conformity with the inquiry, technical optimization of offers, and comparative analysis of supplier&aposs technical offers To prepare the Technical Comparison table, technical ranking of offers, and participates to the election of the supplier together with project engineering manager, project buyer and project manager To prepare equipment list, equipment list updating / equipment status follow up To prepare the "for order" specification and purchase requisition (SAPHIR) To follow up after order engineering document from supplier: suppliers engineering documentation followup and checking To interface with the other disciplines. The ME is working as part of the project engineering team driven (coordinated) by a project engineering manager, and including design engineers, process engineers (sometimes), electrical, automation, and instrumentation. To work closely with the Project Buyer, Quality engineer and Expediter. To delivers all expected documentation (specifications, technical documentation related to the equipment) according to the project schedule. To prepare instrument specification in local S & M municipal project. To checks P&ID for mechanical part. Supplementary responsibilities (not mandatory) In S or M size project, the Mechanical Engineer is also possible to take following responsibilities: To check the P&ID (Process part) Transversal Role To follow HSE company rules, and implement HSE requirement in mechanical engineering To follow and contributes in company or department transversal activities such as Eureka, REX, Omega Engineering tools, etc. To supports and contributes in internal project for discipline development To propose design optimization in term of cost and manufacture schedule To provide specifications as per client requirement To evaluate technical offer of different suppliers To prepare TCT, GFI, GFO To coordinate with supply chain in order to select technically and commercially compliant offer To assist project team for any engineering support need with quick reactivity. It will be measured as per project manager feedback. Who We Are Looking For Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Registered Mechanical and Electrical Engineer is an advantage.
