- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements, sales forecasts, and customer demand patterns.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory turns and minimize stock-outs.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure efficient materials flow and minimize lead times.
- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, including inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Proven experience in materials planning, procurement, and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain principles, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory management best practices.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
