The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for materials procurement, inventory management, and demand forecasting. The Senior Strategic Materials Planner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of materials, optimize inventory levels, and drive cost savings. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute strategic plans for materials procurement, inventory management, and demand forecasting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements, sales forecasts, and customer demand patterns.
Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand accurately.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory turns and minimize stock-outs.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, and inventory optimization.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure efficient materials flow and minimize lead times.
Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, including inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in materials planning, procurement, and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain principles, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory management best practices.
Proficient in using supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
