- Assist the Plant Supervisor in managing daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met
- Supervise production line workers and provide technical guidance when needed
- Monitor machinery and equipment performance; coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards within the plant
- Support quality control checks on raw materials and finished products (nails, wires, and related items)
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and machine utilization logs
- Provide input in optimizing production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Help coordinate training for plant workers on safety, equipment use, and quality standards
- Report issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns promptly to management
- Assist in enforcing plant policies, discipline, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred)
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems
- Supervisory or team lead experience in a production setting is an advantage
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Willing to be assigned on-site and work on shifting schedules as required
