- Making Calls: Primarily making outbound "cold" or "warm" calls to prospective customers using a provided directory or database. They may also handle inbound calls from customers responding to advertisements or promotions.
- Presenting Information: Following a prepared sales script or talking points to provide information about product features, prices, and benefits.
- Engaging with Customers: Answering questions, handling objections, addressing complaints, and building rapport with individuals to influence their purchasing decisions.
- Lead Generation & Appointment Setting: Identifying and qualifying sales leads, and often scheduling appointments for sales representatives to close more complex deals.
- Data Management: Accurately obtaining and recording customer information, call details, and sales outcomes in a computer system or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Meeting Targets: Striving to achieve or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly targets for call volumes, leads generated, or sales conversions.
- Collaboration: Working with sales and marketing teams to provide customer feedback and refine sales strategies and messaging.
- College Graduate
- Excellent verbal communication skills, a clear and confident phone manner, and strong active listening abilities are essential.
- Persuasive and negotiation abilities to influence decisions and overcome objections.
- Ability to handle frequent rejection and maintain a positive, motivated attitude in a results-oriented environment.
- A focus on understanding and addressing customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems or call center software are typically required.
