Bookkeeper/Property Manager Job DescriptionAs a Bookkeeper/Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing property-related tasks. Your role will involve handling bookkeeping duties while also managing property-related financial aspects. The ability to work remotely is essential for this position.Responsibilities:Financial Management:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions using QuickBooks.
  • Verify and reconcile transactions in the correct ledgers (day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger).
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
Property Management:
  • Oversee property-related financial tasks, including rent collection, vendor payments, and property maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and local regulations.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and address property-related issues.
Remote Work:
  • Efficiently manage bookkeeping and property management tasks remotely.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, property owners, and tenants through virtual channels.
Qualifications:Bookkeeping Experience:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Property Management Skills:
  • Knowledge of property management processes, lease agreements, and tenant relations.
  • Ability to handle property-related financial transactions.
Remote Work Competence:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.
Attention to Detail:
  • Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage financial figures and records meticulously.
Organizational Skills:
  • Effective time management and organization for handling both bookkeeping and property management tasks.
Education:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
