Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee multiple client engagements or components of large-scale projects. Develop and implement effective indirect tax strategies while ensuring compliance with GST, VAT, and related regulations. Oversee the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns. Coordinate with tax authorities on audits and compliance matters. Analyze tax implications of business transactions and advise clients accordingly. Deliver insights and recommendations on indirect tax best practices. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development activities. Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth and development. Qualifications & Skills: Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, tax compliance, and accounting standards. 4-5 years of experience in tax consulting, advisory, or a similar environment. CA or CTA qualification (or equivalent). Relevant tertiary or postgraduate education. Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset. Commitment to continuous learning and development.
