With a reputation for refined aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail, the client transforms spaces into timeless, personalized environments. They are expanding their remote design team to support their growing portfolio of high-end clientele.About the Role
This is a full-time, remote role for a talented mid-level interior designer who is fluent in both English and Mandarin. The successful candidate will work closely with lead designers and clients, supporting the design process from initial concepts through to final presentations. This role requires strong technical proficiency, a keen design sensibility, and excellent communication skills to navigate bilingual design collaboration.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with lead designers to develop and execute high-end residential interior design projects
  • Create, organize, and edit presentations using Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
  • Draft layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD
  • Conduct virtual design consultations and communicate design ideas to clients in both English and Mandarin
  • Source furnishings, finishes, and materials in line with U.S. standards (using Imperial units)
  • Translate design concepts into actionable visual and written materials
  • Track and document project progress, revisions, and design notes
  • Attend internal meetings and maintain organized design files and schedules
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of interior design experience, preferably with luxury or high-end residential projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Docs
  • Familiarity with Imperial and Metric systems and U.S. design/building standards
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to communicate design intent clearly across languages
  • Comfortable taking part in occasional client meetings (3–4 times per project)
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with California design styles and residential market trends
  • Prior experience in client-facing design roles or guiding clients through proposals
  • A passion for luxury, craftsmanship, and refined interiors
  • Preferably with experience in luxury or high-end residential furnishing projects.
