Contractor and Vendor Management: Overseeing and managing contracts with cleaning, security, maintenance, and other vendors. Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance. Coordinating with contractors for repairs and projects. People Management and Staff Supervision: Supervising cleaning, maintenance, and security staff. Training and developing staff on best practices and procedures. Managing staffing budgets and payroll. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards. Implementing and monitoring safety procedures and protocols. Managing emergency preparedness and response. Budgeting and Financial Management: Managing budgets for maintenance, repairs, and contracts. Tracking expenses and preparing financial reports. Ensuring cost-effective procurement of inventory. Qualifications: A bachelor&aposs degree in facilities management, engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical), or business administration is generally required. 5-10 years of experience in facilities management or a related field is often preferred.
