CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles Meet financial accounting objectives Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions Coordinate and complete annual audits Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy Participate in and perform any special projects that will contribute to the overall success of the business. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Must possess a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar field Working knowledge of accounting software Superior Excel skills Working knowledge of a computerized ledger system Maintaining excellent relationships with important organizations Flexibility and ability to work effectively with tight timelines Ability to make decisions, organize, and prioritize tasks, as well as meet essential and specified deadlines Ability to manage numerous assignments consecutively Excellent organizational, interaction, presentation, and social skills Technical excellence, excellent analytical thinking Ability to alter priorities in a dynamic environment Applicant must be willing to work in Taguig.
